Storage vmotion traffic flow for ISCSI

Hi Team,

I have a doubt about this "Storage vmotion traffic flow for ISCSI"

https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-vSphere-Discussions/Which-network-uses-svMotion/td-p/186893...

https://devstime.com/2021/07/19/misconception-about-vmotion-traffic-usage/

I have a cluster with 10 nodes that are connected to ISCSi storage(Pure storage + EMC storage). It uses the same 2 * 10 G NICs

I use the ISCSI software adapter on all the ESXi hosts. Each ESXi has 2 * 10 G NICs for ISCSI traffic

I created a VMkernel port "vmk1" on each ESXi(no services selected) and binded 2 * 10 G NICs on ESXi ISCSI software adapter.

Questions:

1) I have not selected the "provisioning" service for ISCSi. During hot storage migration between the same storage or other storage, it will use those 2*10G binded ISCSi NICs(vmk1) ?

2) During cold storage migration between the same storage or other storage, it will again use those 2*10G binded ISCSi NICs(vmk1) ?

Also how to see the traffic flow either from ESXi or command line?

Any idea?

Thank you,

Manivel RR
