Space Reclamation Confirmation

To my knowledge and understanding space reclamation on vSphere 6.0 VMFS6 and above is performed automatically.

I had a storage person tell me today that this feature is disabled on vsphere 6.0 (latest updates I presume) now?

Any truth behind this?

What the storage person said is correct. Btw. VMFS6 is available on vSphere 6.5 and later only, i.e. not on vSphere 6.0.
