Snapshot Automation

I am looking for a tool that would allow me to create server snapshots and then upon a schedule delete the snapshots. The main reason is that when I patch servers, I need to snapshot them, patch and assuming not issues remove the snapshots. I would something that would allow me to schedule the snapshots prior to patching.

Does vRealize Orchestrator do this?

We are running 6.5 currently but will be upgrading to 6.7 soon.

Yes, you could certainly do this with vRO.

You can do it with vRealize orchestrator or with powerCLI using some script like this
