Hi,
in the past with the "old" native VMware vSphere client I could schedule a task for a Storage VMotion procedure.
Now I am using the vSphere Web Client, and cannot find any solution to schedule a task like this.
Does anybody have an idea how I can do this?
Maybe a script per remote cli, but I want to do this per GUI if available...
Regards,
Andre
Click on the vCenter object in the inventory tree. Go to Monitor -> Tasks & Events -> Scheduled Tasks.
Click on the vCenter object in the inventory tree. Go to Monitor -> Tasks & Events -> Scheduled Tasks.
This is to view all scheduled tasks. If you want to create a svMotion as a scheduled tasks, hold down the Ctrl button and then right-click the VM you want to move. You'll now have a schedule option in that menu that appears.
