SRM via a NetApp SnapMirror believes a volume exists when it doesn't

I have 2 NetApp Ontap 9.3 appliances running Snapmirror of a Volume that I want to use SRM 8.1 and vCenter 6u2.  I originally (in my ignorance) had the SRM server on this volume along with several others that I did not want part of the protected VMs.  I moved the SRM Server volume and other non protected VMs volumes.  However, for some reason when I run a test it throws an error during step: Create writeable storage snapshot = "Error - Virtual machines "SRM-Server" that are not protected by this protection group use datastores "SSPCVol1" that are in this protection group."  I've tried recreating both the Protection Group and the Recovery Plan, but it still happens.  How do I get SRM Server's volume to not be seen?
