[SOLVED] vSphere VM guest console - not responding after 1-2 mins of inactivity

Hello,

I have just rebuilt one of our severs with vSphere 6.5. I have a new Red Hat 7.4 VM guest with the KDE desktop. When I open the console using "Open Console in new window" in IE 11 I can do stuff. However if I do something in a different app on my Windows client, then I go back to my VM console it just freezes, I cannot click on anything, no reaction to keyboard/mouse. Especially when I minimize it. I have to close the console window and relaunch the console again. Is there any reason for this behaviour? It's really frustrating.  The original calling IE session is fully active and nothing wrong there.

I also disabled the screen off in the KDE System Settings -> Power.

Resolved, I installed the VMRC console.
