Hello,
setting the alarms from vCenter (v. 6.5) to send snmp traps to a nms tool works fine when the alarm is triggered (from green to yellow or red).
For some strange reason when the status of the resource back to green no snmp trap is sent even if it is configured.
The initial configuration has been done at vCenter level so all child objects should inherits it.
Instead trying to set custom alarm for a specific host for example, sometime the snmp trap for the reset status is sent, but often is not sent.
anyone can suggest me how to solve ?
