Hi,
I am trying to connect a spam appliance in a DMZ to a Server 2012 R2 VM (vsphere 6.7). I can ping the IP and I turned off the Windows firewall but SMTP is being blocked somewhere does anyone have thoughts on what the issue could be?

It wouldn't be a vSphere/ESXi or related issue because there are no firewalls in place for virtual machine port groups.
