SATA or SCSI for ACTIVE DIRECTORY and EXCHANGE SERVER

Guys, i'm preparing 2 windows 2012 R2 for Domain controller and other one for run exchange 2016 std.

I'm concerned about disk performance, i've linked disks under SATA controllr instead of SCSI LSI. What's better for performance?

Paravirtual SCSI is far better for performance than SATA.

It's because you SATA already has drivers support in Windows; to use PVSCSI controller requires you use the floppy image that contains the drivers if you set it up at installation time. If you use search there are lots of articles out there on how to go about doing this.
