Remove host form vSphere Inventory

I need to remove a host from inventory of a vSphere Vcenter. I need to put the hot in maintenance mode before removing from the inventory.

SO if I put he host to maintenance mode and then remove from Inventory of the vcenter server, How will I disable the maintenance  mode of the independent esxi host which do not have any connection with the Vcenter server?

This question should be raised in vSphere Discussion Forum.

You can directly login into Host Client and Go to Actions to Exit Maintenance Mode. Or you can perform same using esxcli from SSH session.

esxcli system maintenanceMode set --enable false

 Hope this helps.
