RE: Not able to take backups and snapshots of a VM that has CBT enabled

I have CBT enabled on all my VMs but just one vm is having a problem while taking a snapshot or backup.
However if I disable CBT manual snapshot works. I am using Symantec Backup Exec 16.I checked the Guest OS and if it was windows and there are no issues.

I followed this VMware KB to reset CBT Manually and test the backup afterwards but backing up the VM failed again. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1031873

The only thing I can think of is to clone the VM and backup the clone, any other suggestions?
