Question about High Availability

Hey guys,

I'm trying to create this using 2 ESXi 6.7, I already have all the VMs installed on the first server, I want to replicate these VMs on the second one, in order to do this, do I have to create/install the VMs on the second one or vCenter does the copying automatically?

Sorry, first time I've been asked to do this.

Thanks.

HI,

from vCenter you can use "Clone to Virtual Machine..."

You should read the vSphere HA documentation here: Creating and Using vSphere HA Clusters

You will need a cluster enabled for HA, it should have your ESXi hosts added to it. The system takes care of the rest - there is no need to manually clone or replicate your VMs.
