Pulling VMtags inside virtual machines

I've noticed that while platform like GCP, Azure, and AWS allow you to retrieve instance metadata and tags from within a virtual machine using the "magic" IP address 169.254.169.254, I couldn't find a similar documented feature for VMware vSphere. Is there a way to fetch tags directly from inside a virtual machine in vSphere, similar to the method used in other cloud platforms?

Although this can be found through public api how we can use magic ip to get the data!!

I think you've posted this in the wrong place. You've posted this in the VMware Fusion for Mac forum. I've asked a moderator to move this to a vSphere forum.
