I am in the process of deploying some Centos servers across our network, some of the servers have more than 3 NIC's.
I can config 3 NIC's ok with all the correct network cards / network information. But when we add the 4th or 5th NIC onto the server and reboot it, the order of the NIC's isn't correct and the NIC's 1-3 don't work any more,. I have seen some posts about adding the PCI bus info to /etc/udev/rules.d/69-vmxnet3-net.rules but this doesn't seem to work on Centos 7.7.
Any suggestions as to what we can do? Open-VM-tools is up to date.
