Pre-upgrade check result Error vCenter appliance upgrade 6.5 to 6.7

Hi, I get this errror when upgrading the vCenter applicance from 6.5 to 6.7

Has anyone had this before or any ideas on how to fix it.

Error

Unable to enumerate and validate the root certificates from the TRUSTED_ROOTS VECS store.

Resolution

Make sure that the vmafd service is reachable and started before continuing.

If you used vCenter 6.7 Update 2 or Update 2a try it with vCenter 6.7 U1 or U1b. In my case this resolved the problem - the failure i had with U2 never came up with U1.

If it's 6.5u2 with updates newer than November 2018, you can't use 6.7 U1 or U1b.  6.7 U2 only.  I've tried with U2 and 2a as well.

Make sure all the required services on source is up and running fine.

Check VMware Knowledge Base  and validate if you are trying any back-in-time upgrade .
