we are using the APC/Schneider Powerchute agent on our Windows servers to monitor the USB connected UPS. With SNMP on the Windows server we can monitor the UPS. Biggest problem. This works on some installations and doesn't on others.
Once the agent recognizes the UPS through the USB passthrough all works fine and our monitoring reads the UPS without issue.
What can be the reason that the USB passthrough sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
We are using various Windows (2012 and later) and ESXi versions (6.0 and later). Same combinations sometimes work and sometimes don't.
