Over allocated CPU /memory

Hi All,

Can someone explain how there will be impact if cpu and memory is over allocated , how come we can allocate a right cpu core to a machine ,usually we will get request to provision Vm with given cpu cores and memory .How to allocate a right resource .Kindly suggest .

Hi,

Do you have vROps running in your plattform?

There you can run a default report called 'Oversized VMs'.

It may help to rightsize all VMs.

We don't have Vrops any calculation is there before assigning and how over sized Vm will cause performance issue
