No compatible network adapter found after patch install

Hello, I'm running a HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10 and ESXi 6.5 build-18678235 Update 3.  This server has been working fine for months, I just installed the latest patch and rebooted the server and I get "No compatible network adapter found"  The only way I can access this server is directly through the console and use the ESXi Shell, or I can access the ESXi Shell by using a remote console in iLo.  How can I load new NIC drivers?  I've downloaded the drivers on to a USB drive but I can't figure out how to install the driver for the USB drive in the ESXi Shell. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hello,

did you use an HP Custom ISO to install ESXi on this Host?

Also which driver are you trying to install?

If needed you can rollback to the previous boot bank and load the ESXi before the patching:

Thank you for your reply, I did not use an HP Custom ISO to install ESXi on this Host.

Sounds like the best time to switch to the HP-custom ISO - identifying and downloading and installing the appropriate driver manually may look like the faster approach - but I doubt that.
