Hi,
Created new VM's via powercli and csv and noticing the following when compared to a manually created VM in the same environment (ESXi 6.5U2)
Video card is 4MB vs 8MB of the manually created VM
No SATA Controller created vs SATA Controller 0 on the manually created VM
Do you think the above differences are an issue? (The vdisk on both VMs look to be using SCSI controller 0 so do not think SATA is actually needed)
VM created via powercli specified -GuestId of "centos7_64Guest" and manually created VM used CentOS 7 (64bit)
Also unrelated to the above but in same topic, recently created VMs from template (Ubuntu) and see that they use SCSI Controller 0 with LSI Logic Parallel.
I was wondering if we should consider changing these to VMware Paravirtual if this brings in additional benefits (Need to keep in mind that they have been created from template which was using LSI Logic Parallel so no sure if that would break it)
Thanks
