New License structure

HI ,

According to VMware new license structure, with CPU more than 32 core will need additional license.

it will applied to hyper threading enable Core or not ?

Example: if we have 24 core per cpu, but after enabling hyperthreading it will be 44 core. in this case it will need one license or two license, according to new structure announced on 3 Feb 2020?

Hyperthreading will not count towards cores. Technically, it is not an extra core so with 24 cores/CPU you need one license per CPU.

"32 physical cores” is the key wording: Update to VMware’s per-CPU Pricing Model | VMware
