Hi,

Follow the below steps:

  1. Start a browser and open the vRealize Automation appliance splash page using the fully qualified domain name of the virtual appliance:https://vra-va-hostname.domain.name.
  2. Click vRealize Automation console. You can also use this URL to open the vRealize Automation console: https://vra-va-hostname.domain.name/vcac

Hi

The current page what you are getting is the VRA VAMI page.

This is not the place from where you can deploy VM's, or work with VRA .

-->You need to enter IP or FQDN of VRA in the browser then you will get a page which provides you multiple option of VRO and VRA to login .

Below is the best article to understand and with steps:

Please mark this as correct if this answers and helps you .

Hi Gayathri ,
I have separate  VRO 7 and  VRA 7 as well my requirement is whenever user is requesting to create new VM from VRA it should communicate to vro
and run the appropriate workflow and it should communicate to TCPWave IPAM , it will  give the free IP from that network ,i need to take that IP from  TCPWave IPAM

and assign to that requested VM.

Can i use separate vra and vro or continue with inbuilt vro which is there VRA 7 ?

How can i create the plugin which can communicate to IPAM ?

Thanks ,
Shaikh

You can use any one , either embeded VRO , or external VRO , and configure accordingly .

Please check below doc to understand what plugins comes along with VRO and how the plugin installation goes by reading below doc :
https://docs.vmware.com/en/vRealize-Orchestrator/7.1/vrealize-orchestrator-71-using-plugins-guide.pd...

Mainly from PG no: 11 about Plugins.

Please mark this as correct if this answers and helps you .

Ok, tcpwave123, several things you need to observe here. First, you keep posting these in the wrong place. This isn't a vSphere issue it's a vRealize Automation issue. Second, you clearly lack some fundamental knowledge on this product, so rather than trying to post every small question here, please go read the product documentation. Hands on Labs are also a good place to get started. If you don't know how to access the vRA web portal then start there. Third, when you ask

Can you please tell how can i start to create third party vro plug-in

which can communicate to TCPWave IPAM.

this is not a simple question and process. We cannot give you instructions on how to create a custom plug-in as this is an extremely difficult process. It's likely you don't even need a custom plug-in depending on what IPAM vendor you're using. Again, basics first, and see the Extensibility guide for more information.
