I am working a proof-of-concept and hoping someone here can offer me some best practices, tips, ideas for 2-NIC team either Active-Active or Active-Standby with 2 distinct, air-gapped Aruba/Procurve TOR switches 1 for each NIC port with redundant cable drops from the core switch 1 to each TOR switch. Problem is if the upstream path is lost the NICs aren't failing over. The Standby NIC remains in Standby and even in active-active if I lose the upstream core switch. I am assuming because there is sense of link loss since the TOR is still running. In perusing the docs, google and such I am not finding a lot of info to guide me to what I am missing, should consider, etc. Hence my question to the community. Thanks!
