Namespace error while entering host into maintenance mode

Team,

Can someone please guide me in fixing below issue:

Host cannot enter maintenance mode because it failed to enter Namespaces maintenance mode on the node.

I had to update my vCenter with the new patch, i.e., v7.0u1b

It is working fine after that.

Hey @Arvind_Kumar11,

Probably this is related with the Workload Control Plane service not being initiated. 

Log into vCenter VAMI console over port 5480 and check the status of that service.

Hey Mate,

I checked this service on VAMI, its already started.
I even rebooted the vCenter but it didn't help.

Did You find any help with this? I have a similiar, if not the same, problem with putting hosts into Maintenance Mode.

I have 7.0u2a and the problem is there as well, interesting.

Just in case anyone has this issue in the future when I see this error the Workload Control Plane service is stopped on the vcenter appliance 

Has anyone had the latest update fix this service stopping?
