NTP/Time Zone considerations

Hi,

how to properly setup NTP infrastructure and Time Zones for an vSphere environment to make administrative tasks (running scheduled jobs) and troubleshooting (logs reviewing) easier if an administrator is seating in PST, vCenter is in EST and hosts are in CET?

thx

Regards
Radek

The ESXi uses UTC time and the date and time showing on vSphere Client is translated to the local time where you're running the vSphere Client, see: VMware Knowledge Base

About your PSC and vCenter, make sure configure the correct time zone and ensure to configure the same NTP time source for PSC, vCenter and ESXi hosts.
