  • 1.  Monitoring disk space on host (SD card)

    Posted May 21, 2019 01:40 PM

In 6.5, I see no way to do this but in 6.7 there are some vCenter alerts that are fuzzy at best. Has anyone found a good way to monitor the partitions on the SD Card for ESXi

    Reason:

We are effected by the HPE AMS bug that fills the /tmp directory and it has caused one host to reboot and I am looking for a way to keep that from happening.

Thanks in Advance for any input on this

Why not fix the problem by updating the affected AMS agent? This problem is over two years old and they've since released a newer agent that fixes this issue.

I am on the latest patches and it is still happening. Even the HPE bulletin doesn't have resolution on it yet. Regardless I would still love to monitor the space on the SD Card/partitions

According to this bulletin, the issue was fixed in v3.1.0. If that is indeed true but you're still experiencing the issue, that would seem to warrant another case with HPE.
