Those are coming from system logs, and there's no supported way to just clear those out. Why would you want to do this? What's your use case?

actually I tested some configuration on a server on my organization and obviously don't want others see that!!!

i cleared log files using shell but cant clear events

I don't know of a way to clear those events. As I said, there is certainly no supported way nor a way in the UI.

i find out that "Tasks and Events in vCenter will disappear from vCenter Server over 24 hours, although stored in the database for later retrieval."

seems no big deal, who wana check internal database in future? :smileygrin:

Tasks and Events don't necessarily disappear in 24 hours. It depends on the rate of churn in those types of messages. They will be retained for whatever is specified in the vCenter configuration.
