Migration from Windows Vcenter 6.5U2 to VCSA6.7 fails

Hi!

I am trying to migrate our Windows based Vcenter 6.5U2 to VCSA6.7 but it fails with the following error messages. Searching others with similar issues it often deals with lookups and reverse lookups on the vcenter server name but i have checked this and it works as it should.
Running it again it always fails on 41% with the "A problem occured while - Exporting VMware vCenter Server Database data...".

Help is appreciated.

I am wondering is there something funky with that user,/password ( does it has non ascii special characters etc )  whats in the vcdb properties file, its in C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\cfg\vmware-vpx - you can redact the fqdn etc etc

What size is the DB? Did you try configuration only when migrating, if not try exclude the events and performance data.

Maybe you need to shrink before. VMware Knowledge Base
