Hello everyone! In the near future I am going to be either migrating or cloning and moving a vm server from one vCenter to another(which is at a different location) . The server runs sql and another application that is used to support the business. I am trying to figure out the best practices and looking for any advice that will assist during this process. I have a general knowledge of VMs but am still fairly new to using them in an hands on environment. Some other important information to give is that the vCenter where it is currently located is running a much older version. Looking forward to hearing from this community. Please reply if other information is needed, I could not find much specific information on this topic.
