When I try to update my ESXi server from build 5224529 of 6.5 to any build via the command line I get a MetadataFormatError. I'm using the command esxcli software profile update -p ESXi-6.5.0-20181004001-standard -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml
This gives the error:
[MetadataFormatError]
Could not parse type XML data: Opening and ending tag mismatch: link line 4 and head, line 5, column 9.
Please refer to the log file for more details.
When I look at the log, it only shows this error with no further information. Any ideas?
