Topic Name : Setting Up Networking with vSphere Distributed Switches

Publication Name : vSphere Networking

Product/Version : VMware vSphere/6.7

Question :

Are there any issues that can arise from only managing one host on a vDS? I have a few instances of this in my environment and can see VLAN/MTU warnings shown from health monitoring on the vDS.

The healthcheck works in way that it compare the settings on the pys. switch compared to the vDS.   If you have more or less VLANs configurated on neither the pSwitch or vDS it raises this error.  It have noting todo if one or more Hosts are connnected to that vDS.

Somewhere in the old WebClient when clicking on that Healtcheck you get a report in the bottom page which the list of VLANs and than you can check your devices which one is the culprit.
