Losing licence on every reboot

I have a DELL R630 with Vmware 6 (custom Dell image) in production environment for about six months now.

Recently (about two months) i've been having this weird anomally...

Every time I need to reboot the server it looses the VMWare Licence and "removes" one of the three virtual machines I have...

I've google'd hoping someone has ever had the same problem, but did not find any answer.

FYI: The system (Vmware) is installed on a USB pen located inside the server itself.

maybe there's an issue with the USB device.

Please take a look at https://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2013/02/how-to-backup-restore-free-esxi-host.html for commands to sync/backup/restore the host configuration. If the sync_config command throws an error, you may consider to replace the USB device.
