Login to vcenter without domain

Hello,

I configured vcenter SSO to authenticate with my domain, but I noticed in another environment that the end user did not add the domain to log in.

He just added the network login and password.

In my environment, I have to add the domain \ network user.

Is it because I have a child domain in my domain? But I did not configure this child domain in vcenter. I just configured the root domain.

Thank you.

No, it's because you haven't listed your external domain as the default one. You make this change under the Administration section within the SSO config.

Try to set your AD Identitysource as the default one from the 3 (localOS, vsphere.local an your AD) and see if its make the difference.
