Is ipv6 Needed with 6.7

I‘m deploying a new vSphere setup on a single host in a small business networK.  25 employees with local PCs and a single subnet.  Fewer than 10 VMs all running Windows.  ESXI 6.7 u1 with VSCA and using Essentials Plus licensing.  And all local storage on the host.  May add 2nd host in the future but not currently necessary.

My question is regarding ipv6, which I currently don’t use in any way on this small network.  DHCP is supplied via a SonicWall but not using ipv6 addresses.  Any real need to keep ipv6 enabled on the esxi 6.7 u1 host?  If so, what address should I apply as I don’t issue these types of addresses with my DHCP.

Thanks for any input.

Ken

As simple as, if you don't need it, just disable it.

I'd like to add that it's one of those things that can be disabled asap right after a reboot of a new install, even before you input a license.

I've explained it here:

However, a very important caveat with ESXi 6.5 is this issue which, incredulously, is still unresolved as of this writing. Runecast did a good write-up on their blog here. The only known workaround is to enable IPv6. Be warned.
