Internet connection

Good evening,

i'm trying to build a VM on a Vsphere server.

I need that VM runs internet connection, but the network adapter is on VM network that doesn't allows internet connection, even is the only network available.

what can i do?

It will be good to know how it's setup. You should be ale to create a virtual switch, with a port group and a VM kernel. Assign  IP address and default gateway. Attach the new created VM network to the VM. You can find this in the threads below, should be helpful:

I simply created a vm and installed the os.

I don't know how to assign ip and default gateway or connect it to a switch.

could you explain me please?
