Infrastructure licenses

Hi to you all,

i am new to this forum and i am a newbie with vsphere. I need your help to know if with 2 license of vmware essential plus kit can i install it on 4 phisical hosts, each one with 2 cpu.

I read with 1 license you can install vsphere (Esxi ) to virtualize machines on 3 different phisical hosts.

Briefly i would like to know is with 2 licenses is possible to have this implementation:

HOST1

VM1

VM2

HOST2

VM3

VM4

HOST3

VM5

VM6

HOST4

VM7

VM8

You will need to get a the appropriate amount of Licenses for your overall infrastructure for example if you use your requirement of 4 servers with 2 sockets each you will need 8 * 1 CPU license of your desired edition.

However in your example below it looks like you may get most value in using a ROBO License which will let you have up to 25 VM's on whatever hardware you need.
