Import VMDK to Esxi

Hi everyone

Hi use Vmware Converter to migrate a physical windows  10 to a Esxi Host.

The process goes fine and i open the file .vmx and add to inventory of Esxi, when i start the vm i get a error "Unsupported and/or invalid disk type".

Then i use the command vmkfstools -i to import the file into a folder of VM created, after that i attached the disk to VM and start.

Now the VM start but i get a BSOD during boot.

The Esxi Version is 5.5.0 on a Dell PowerEdge R300

I attach the screenshoot error:

Hello,

As per the below, it seems there is a incompatibility issue between vsphere 5.5.0 and W10: VMware Compatibility Guide - Guest/Host Search

Also as per the following it is not supported Windows 10 is supported in vSphere 5.5 Update 3b and vSphere 6.0 and above for Unidesk environments

As recommendation, upgrade your vsphere to 5.5 update 3b as minimum.
