Implement Tanzu K8s/vSphere Pod without overlay network?

I'm currently evaluating the networking options for the Tanzu pod/vSphere native pod environment and the scenario could be range from poc to production.

Typically the tanzu k8s or the pure supervisor workloads require the use of NSX-T(or flannel), however, after checking out official documents I still not sure about which product/solution that bring us the pod(container) can use traditional vlan network only.

If possible I would like to plan the Tanzu/supervisor architecure(every nodes & pods) with just the vSphere VLAN networking(+ HAproxy).

in this document https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/vmware-vsphere-with-tanzu/GUID-B156CDA6-B056-4D1C-BBC5... ,the supervisor cluster can be utilize without NSX-T for the namespace networking, but as far as i know the vSphere Pod require NSX-T so I guess this scenario doesn't support vSphere Pod.

I also checked this doc https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/vmware-vsphere-with-tanzu/GUID-C86B9028-2701-40FE-BA05... but not sure about which solution can utilize the VLAN networking + HAproxy ?

does anyone know what kind of product of Tanzu/supervisor can meet my demand in vSphere 7?

TKGI and pure supervisor workloadmanagement Pod seemed required NSX-T, but what about Tanzu basic to advanced? and TKG?

thanks🤔
