ISCSI software adaptor refuses to get deleted or disabled

Since 4 hours m trying to disable and delete ISCSI software adaptor but every effort in vain inspite of prompting for rebooting of host. Hosts has been rebooted more than 10 times but the adaptor returns as is enabled.

Tried it via vpshere client as well as vcenter.

Are or were you using this adapter for boot? If so, then this is why it's coming back.
