I thought vSphere Storage Appliance was EOL?

Just want to sanity check, VSA is EOL in 2014, right?  I have an eval copy of vCenter 7 up and when I went to apply the production license it warned that "The selected license does not support some of the features that are currently available to the licensed assets - vSphere Storage Appliance"

Odd that if VSA is EOL it would still be included in an eval license, right?  Unless it's back?  Because I could use it for a couple unclustered DMZ hosts that we are replicating with Veeam at the moment.

vSphere Storage Appliance was discontinued and also you must check products compatibility.

So you can use discontinued products, if other solution/product is compatible with that.
