Check the vmx-file.
Most probable reason: one of the vmdks is configured with an absolute path.
I did correction in vmx file pointing to :
/vmfs/volumes/5e493010-d9f2cbf0-c496-64006a66bf47/Nextcloud
But still failing.

vmware.log
the vmware.log is old - dont you get a new one when you start to launch the VM ?
No, I checked all other log files and all are old, with entries from 2019....this also confuses me a bit.
delete vmware.log and start again
Done, still no logs being created.
Hmmm - what about unregistering the VM and then add it again ?
Also done, nothing better....
Unregister the VM.
Edit vmx-file and remove this lines:
uuid.bios = "56 4d 4f 88 fa 83 cd fe-40 aa 7e 2d c5 38 1d c3"
uuid.location = "56 4d ed 3d 2d f1 c9 5a-e5 b2 f8 22 81 a4 bf 1f"

SCSI0:0.ctkEnabled = "True"
ctkEnabled = "TRUE"
Edit the 3 vmdk descriptorfiles and remove this lines:
always 2 in a block - content slightly different ...
# Change Tracking File
changeTrackPath="Nextcloud0-000001-ctk.vmdk"
So you have to edit 3 vmdk-files.
Next remove all *.ctk.vmdk files in the same directory.
This operations will be easiest for you - and most predictable for me - if you use WinSCP.
Last edit this line in the vmx-file:
displayName = "Nextcloud_not working anymore"
change that to:
displayName = "Behave yourself or sanbarrow will get you"
Now register the VM again.
Launch it and create a screenshot of the error message ...
Attached files after changes, using WinSCP. Still the same issue.
Directory looks like :
[root@alien:/vmfs/volumes/5e493010-d9f2cbf0-c496-64006a66bf47/Nextcloud] ls -hal

Please change the displayname - so that we know for sure wether the VM has registered correctly.
Show the error you get please.
Just a quick question.
Is the new disk to which you've moved the VM formatted with VMFS5, or VMFS6?
Note that VMFS6 does not support delta files, but only sesparse files for snapshots.
