Hi,
I would like to backup the running VM to external drive. Can anyone share the simple procedure to perform this kind of backup
And, also share the procedure to restore the VM from the external drive if its needed at a later stage.
Thanks in Advance
My simple process involves using Veeam and a repository that is on the external USB drive. Create a backup job and point it at that repository. Veeam backs up the VM to the external drive which you can then detach.
Are you looking for a free solution or paid for backup service?
It would be great if I can get the free solution.
I have been using Vsquare for a long time and very happy with it.
