How to set the iscsi multipath back to normal?

My question is that, if one path is down, and the path is ok later from the SAN. How to make it to normal in vsphere client?

Sometimes it can be back to normal in 2mins, sometimes it would cost almost 30mins, worsely, it never back.

Is there any steps to make it back right away?

If the patch is restored from the SAN/network point, a rescan should reflect that the path is active and available for IO again.
