How to increase Disk Size

One of VM running red hat and have attached 3 drives, all the drive type are think provision.

In windows environment if increase HDD than need to initialize the new space from device manager.

So how it works in Linux world?

I've attached a doc with step-by-step procedure to extend LVM. You will have to customize the commands and replace the LVM from your linux box.

Please see attached. The highlighted volume is only 15% left how i can increase that?

Thank you Vijay, so i have increased the size of the vmdk now do i have to restart the server? can i increased without restarting the server?

Also if i do restart than could you please provide the steps as per the attached file you sent. Appreciated

You will have to reboot the server if you are expanding the existing vmdk.(Maybe partprobe can help but I am not sure)

Reboot the server and follow the steps from the doc I attached.
