How to identify the name of the Flash\HD connected to the esxi machine?

How to identify the name of the Flash\HD connected to the esxi machine?

For example, in the screenshot below, the flash with a name “Flash 1 4GB” is removed from the current machine and connected to the esxi machine. I have no clue which one of the detected flashes should be the “Flash 1 4GB”!

Well, if it's showing up in the disks section, how likely do you think it would either be a motion sensor or a camera? Seems like common sense to me...

Hello,

Use the following to get more information about the USB device connected to ESXi host:

Verifying the storage device using the command: esxcli storage core device list | grep -i usb

or viewing the mounted filesystems using the command: esxcli storage filesystem list

If my reply was helpful, I kindly ask you to like it and mark it as a solution
