How to change hosts members cluster registration from IP to name in vCenter

Hi, I already deployed a new vCenter with 3 nodes vSan cluster. Currently they are registred by IP on the vCenter and now I got the dns names and I like to change the registration from IP to the dns name to the Hosts. The vCenter server, dc and other VMs services is running on the cluster.

How I make the change without stop these VMs?

Pretty sure you have to remove the hosts from the vCenter inventory and add them back in again with their FQDN - it doesn't involve stopping VMs normally but how that process works when you have vSAN I have no idea.
