Host Profile - iSCSI issue

Hi

Strange issue with Host profiles. I have set a Discovery Target with a fixed LoginTimeout and DelayedAck disabled. The remediation completes, but does not apply the settings, so the compliance always shows as "Not Complaint".

It looks like it sets the value, but does not untick "inherited from parent"

Any ideas please?

NetApp KB1004083 seems to say that a reboot is required for activating those settings.

Did you run a Test-VMHostProfileCompliance after the reboot?

Are you using PowerCLI or is this just a broader Host Profiles question?

Good point, both PowerCLI and the GUI return the same non-compliance.

Hi LucD.

After a reboot, Test-VMHostProfileCompliance gives me the same warning;

Moderator: On the basis that this is a wider Host Profiles question, thread moved to the vSphere area.
