I have been told a of an instance whereby a VM was consuming lots of host CPU, the CPU usage was three times higher than expected. The guest operating system was reporting low CPU usage, but was very sluggish to use, and the VM was experiencing network dropouts.
When I go to investigate this, what should I be looking for? Is this something that has been come across before? And, was the cause discovered?
