HD not recognized by esxi

I installed a new 2TB drive. The BIOS (supermicro server) recognizes, but esxi does not recognize the new hd. Could anyone help?

You have to created a VD first on the RAID controller configuration menu. Choose RAID0 if you only have one disk and do the same as for the SSD which is already in use.

More information is needed on your ESXi version, the disk hardware, the controller hardware that you have connected the disk to.

This is so normal. You probably didn't create a raid. Would you try again after creating Raid?
