I recently upgraded my vCenter Server to 6.7. I am use to the Flash client. Where is the Recent Objects and Work in Progress panes in the HTML5 client? Is there a way to change the font size and spacing? The Flash client has a more compact design, which I prefer.
Hi Deso1ator,
The WiP is gone with the HTML5 client: Work In Progress view in vSphere Client?
Not sure about the font and spacing but agree with you in regards to layout. I'm finding myself leaning more and more to the flash client as there is more on screen at a time - and that is saying something as the flash client is not that great either (subjectively speaking)
Kind regards.

Thanks for the input. I will also add my opinion to the other topic you linked. Maybe VMware will still monitor that topic.
I think I will stick with the Flash client for now. It's a lot easier to navigate and view everything.
I find chaging the page zoom to 70% or 80% improves the layout greatly.
I do still wish the amount of white space was reduced, to improve it further and allow more information to be displayed at the same time. Table lists with lots of columns can be pretty terrible.
That's a good idea about zooming in. It helps a lot.
I think one mistake often made by developers (and perhaps the companies employing them) is to give developers MASSIVE monitors. They get to develop on such big monitors, it gets lost on them that people need to use these GUIs on much smaller screen real estate. Often a 15" 1280x1024 screen in a pull-out rack monitor, it's quite infuriating sometimes. All the big players are guilty of this at times.
