For anyone out there that might stumble across this...

We recently added an additional two ESX hosts to our VDI cluster and were scratching our heads as to why we were seeing the above error during provisioning operations. We later realised that we were using the VAAI Clone Offload feature in our desktop pools but had forgotten to add our storage provider's (Tintri) VAAI ESXi plugin to the new hosts. Installing the relevant plugin and rebooting the new hosts resolved this issue for us.

Please let me know when are you getting the below Error:

View Composer Fault: Unexpected VC fault from View Composer (Unknown)

As per the Error this could be an issue with VAAI module is not installed or enabled on all ESXi hosts.

Also vCenter Server throws exception when we try to move the disks in nosesparse format to VMFS 6 datastore.

View should leave the format type blank and let vCenter Server select the right one.

SEsparse is the default format for all delta disks on the VMFS6 datastores.
